Anti-Virus Lite protects your device from malware, as well as from loss of data and money. Anti-Virus Lite allows you to check applications via the Kaspersky Security Network cloud service before their first run, as well as to efficiently respond to new unknown threats. Anti-Virus Lite includes the Cloud Security Scanner function.
Cloud Security Scanner allows you to check new applications before their first run via the Kaspersky Security Network cloud service (the online service, which contains the information about reliability of applications, files, and web sites). The Kaspersky Security Network cloud service receives information from users of all Kaspersky Lab products, thus enabling counteraction to new unknown threats.
You can check a new application in the cloud before its first run. If the application proves to be trustworthy according to the cloud check results, Kaspersky Mobile Security Lite will notify you on it. If the application proves to be a malware according to the cloud check results, Kaspersky Mobile Security Lite will prompt to delete this application.
To check a new application in the cloud you need an active Internet connection.
