The Data Wipe function allows you to delete the following information from the device remotely: Contacts and SIM card entries, SMS, call log, calendar, Internet connection settings, user accounts (except Google™ accounts), as well as files from the list of folders to be deleted (saved on a memory card only). The wipe will be performed after a special SMS command is received by the device.
Note! Kaspersky Mobile Security Lite only deletes contacts on the SIM card on devices with version 2.0 or above of the Android™ operating system.
On the Data Wipe screen, you can enable / disable the option to delete data remotely, as well as select information to be deleted.

The Information to be deleted section allows you to specify the information that will be deleted when a special SMS command is received. The section is available only if the Enable Data Wipe checkbox is selected. The section contains the following settings:
Deletion of Contacts and SIM card entries, SMS, call log, calendar, Internet connection settings, user accounts (except Google™ accounts). If the checkbox is selected, personal data will be wiped once a special SMS command is received. If the checkbox is not selected, personal data will not be wiped after a special SMS command is received.
Delete folders from your list of folders to be deleted. When a special SMS command is received, the application will delete folders from the list of folders to be deleted. You are able to select folders saved on a memory card.
The function is available in the full version of the application.
Running Data Wipe Remotely
You will not be able to use Data Wipe unless this functionality is activated on your device. Data Wipe may be enabled remotely using one of the methods below:
Note! Outgoing SMS will be billed at the rates set by the mobile carrier for the phone where the SMS command originates.
